LSI currently seeks a part-time, with the potential to grow to full-time, Therapist - Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to provide therapy and counseling assessments in a variety of settings in the Buena Vista, Clay, and Dickinson County areas.

When you join our team as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), you'll work with clients in both school-based and outpatient settings. You'll conduct assessments and ongoing counseling for children, youth, and adults.

In this role, you will be responsive to referrals and conduct comprehensive assessments with diagnoses that meet diagnostic criteria as established in the DSM. You'll develop a treatment plan which fully addresses the behavioral health care needs identified through the assessment and diagnosis that result in an improvement in functioning for each client. You'll manage case plan oversight and re-evaluation as necessary to support the needs of the client based upon your assigned caseload. You'll also provide clinical supervision, as needed, to our team of residential/community-based BHIS social workers.
Qualified applicants will have a Master's in Social Work or related field and be licensed in the state of Iowa. Temporary or provisionally licensed therapists are welcome to apply. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
