At LSI, you're more than a therapist.

You're a trusted leader.

You're an innovator in your field.

You're a critical part of the movement to address the mental healthcare shortage in key areas.

In other agencies, you may be one among many therapists with identical job functions. At LSI, you have the unique opportunity to grow your practice, develop relationships with community stakeholders, and truly engage with the community you serve.

When you join our team as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), you'll work with clients in both school-based and outpatient settings. You'll conduct assessments and ongoing counseling for children, youth, and adults.

At LSI, we believe in wrapping compassionate care around children and families. Our therapists are central to this mission and they serve as expert advisors to LSI's early childhood, behavioral health, and family safety teams. You'll never doubt that you are making a profound difference in people's lives. And no two days will be the same.

In addition to our competitive salary, we offer an impressive array of health, wellness, and development benefits and resources, including:

* monthly wellness discount on health insurance premiums

* employer contribution to health premiums

* employer contribution to your health savings account

* mileage reimbursement

* 401K match contribution

* ongoing professional training development

* generous paid time off package

* student loan forgiveness programs

In this role, you will be responsive to referrals and conduct comprehensive assessments with diagnoses that meet diagnostic criteria as established in the DSM. You'll develop a treatment plan which fully addresses the behavioral health care needs identified through the assessment and diagnosis that result in an improvement in functioning for each client. You'll manage case plan oversight and re-evaluation as necessary to support the needs of the client based upon your assigned caseload. You'll also provide clinical supervision, as needed, to our team of residential/community-based BHIS social workers.

Qualified applicants will have a Master's in Social Work or related field and be licensed in the state of Iowa. Temporary or provisionally licensed therapists are welcome to apply. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.

It's their life. It's your career.

Make a difference in both at LSI!
