Total compensation package

LSI currently seeks a full time, Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to provide therapy and counseling assessments in an outpatient setting in Polk and surrounding counties. Bilingual preferred, but not required.  This position will work with both children and adults, offering a wide range of opportunities to practice and grow as a clinician. A few examples would be working with youth detained in the detention center, working with people with disabilities as well as the possibility of providing school based therapy. The right applicant will have the ability to work with a diverse population as we serve both children and adults. Also, this position will vary in schedule, with ability to schedule own hours.

In this role, you will be responsive to referrals and conduct comprehensive assessments with diagnoses that meet diagnostic criteria as established in the DSM. You'll develop a treatment plan which fully addresses the behavioral health care needs identified through the assessment and diagnosis that result in an improvement in functioning for each client. You'll manage case plan oversight and re-evaluation as necessary to support the needs of the client based upon your assigned caseload. You can also receive clinical licensure supervision from one of LSI's Clinical Supervisors.


Qualified applicants will have a Master's in Social Work or approved related field and be licensed in the state of Iowa. Temporary and provisionally licensed applicants are encouraged to apply!

This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
