LSI is seeking an Associate Vice President of Child Welfare Services in northern Iowa.

The Associate Vice President of Child Welfare Services is an LSI Executive Leadership-level position that is directly responsible for the vision, operation, and statewide oversight of LSI's child welfare contracts with the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS).

The successful candidate will be an industry leader who deeply understands and demonstrates experience and results at a systems level within Iowa's child welfare and human services landscape. Applicants should be adept at creating vision, developing strategy, and operationalizing plans that position LSI for the future, while also ensuring quality standards are upheld and exceeded today.

DUTIES

This position ensures the provision of high-quality services to achieve and exceed child welfare contract outcomes. This position understands state- and federal-level legislation and systems that impact service expectations and outcomes. The Associate Vice President of Child Welfare Services builds and maintains collaborative partnerships with external entities, such as DHS, Juvenile Court Services (JCS), and other human-services providers. This position provides oversight and direction for LSI's movement toward a culture of service integration, which promotes a continuum of preventative and restorative services to drive current contract outcomes, meet deliverables set by the state, position LSI for future contract procurement, and ensures successful performance under the Families First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA).

Required: Bachelor's degree in a health or human service related field with a minimum of ten years of related experience, plus five years of supervisory experience required.

Preferred: Master's degree in a health or human services related field with a minimum of ten years related experience, plus five years of supervisory experience required.
